Is anyone else having trouble posting blogs?

After sporadic instances for a week or so now, today EVERY post does not "go through" even though I enter the code numbers and then enter.   Only by hitting the "Back" button on my browser, recalling my comment screen, and then entering the new code number, does it land on the blog.  So, essentially, I have to do it twice every time.

FIX THIS,  MM !!!!!!!!

Unfortunate, isn't it? I'm glad you are strong enough to move beyond them, however! I enjoy your blogs!

Thanks CD! I appreciate your understanding.
I'm a fan of your blogs as well and appreciate the compliment. You made my day.

Queenie,
You just gave me the BEST raise I could ever hope for.  This is what it is all about--Helping members.
Hopefully this episode has come to an end and you bloggers can get back to having fun.  As for me, I am going to take off my MM Counselor hat for a few hours and head over to the LW B&G for a good "stiff" one----it's been a tough week.
Thanks to all of you, dysfunctional family members, for your support.
As always Stay Safe,
Britt

Britt
I echo Queenie's and Pat's comments and appreciate your tireless efforts to address MM issues whether it's technical or "keeping the peace."
I even appreciated you following up with me and I'm sure many others yesterday to confirm whether the technical glitches are resovled. Let us know who we can send our Thank You's to about you.

SORRY AGAIN, CG, FOR YET ANOTHER HIJACK.  But--I think you'll consider the reason worthwhile when you read the following post....

Optimism, Sass?  Hell--I stated FACTS!!!!!  I really should introduce you to my friend, Florence.  She and her husband are Haitains who "escaped" that country at a very early age many years ago,  and made it big in the USA.  Both of them are always AMAZED at how prejudiced so many blacks in this country feel whites are toward them.  They have never felt that way....can't fathom it.  They would no more think that someone is "against" them because they are black than they would think that.....I don't know what.

These two people have NO CONCEPT in their heads of racial prejudice.  It's simply beyond their thinking/experience/comprehension.  Hence, they are NEVER hampered in anything they want to do because of "racial issues."  If you'd like to meet Florence and Eddy, let me know through email.  I'll put you in touch with them.  Marvelous, marvelous people.  Florence especially is very involved with relief efforts for Haiti....for the village they both came from which was destroyed totally....

Oh, the story goes on endlessy.  Suffice it to say that these two friends of mine have no clue in their heads what racial prejudice is.  They don't see it in their daily lives [even though it may be there] and so it never gets in their way.  They are amazing people and I'm sure you would love them both....

Pat

You are phenominal Pat and I can always count on you as a voice of reason.
Thanks for sharing Florence and Eddy's story. They are very fortunate not to have experienced any type of racial prejudice. We are all shaped by different personal experiences and I have not been as lucky as Flo and Eddy.
Despite some challenges, my parents raised my brother and I to be proud of our heritage, aware and open to other cultures, faiths and perspectives and to never let any obstacles stop us from achieving the things we want in life. We were raised to work hard, have integrity and to plan well for the kind of success we want. Therefore, I do not blame others for things that don't go my way, I simply work hard for anything I want to accomplish. I feel very blessed and am happy.
That said, my family also made me aware that some people in this world are not always as open minded and they will not be nice and may not be respectful.  I've met such people and have always dealt with stereotypical thinking in the most respectful way possible. It is not something I have to touch often, but I know how to conduct myself with great eloquence, facts and wit should I encounter ignorance.
Please send Flo and Eddy my best. Where are they located?
CG: Like Pat, I am also sorry for hijacking your blog, but given the string this happened organically.
Pat: We might owe CG a drink!
Sass

I would like to thank Brittney for all her work.  She has choosen a tough job, and an often thankless one, to protect our members and try to make our time here safer and more fun.  We all know that the powers to be are not always on their toes about fixing the glitches here....but we also know that this has been going on since we have all become members years ago.  They really need another platform but....I doubt that this will happen.  In the meantime, many of us from this dysfunctional cyber family have formed friendships that have lasted for years. We may not always agree, but you will see us all gather together when it it time to protect other people in this community.
This past year MM decided to bring in an MM counselor and Britt decided she could handle the tensions between members and the powers that be.  She is very brave!  I know how hard she has worked to protect us from the preditors that are out there.  She deserves a raise!  Ok,  maybe we cannot do that, but we sure can take the time to thank her for the endless hours of work that she puts in here for us.
Thank you Brittney.  We do appreciate all you have done for us.

Good! Thank you but not yet effective apparently ;)

Courtney, give Brit a chance.  Afterall, she is not [yet] the be all and end all authority on here.  Nevertheless, I can tell you she is working her ass off to take care of this problem--and about a million other problems as well.

We have no finer voice--and ear--on here that Britt's.  Let's not be tough on her--because we surely don't need to be.  Quite often, she's way ahead of us, if you haven't noticed....

And--I'm willing to bet--she's received about 10 thank you's for every 1 million problems she's solved....So......patience, friend.  Get off her case because she's already on THE CASE long before most of us even realize there IS a case....

Pat

Why is this a color issue vs. a content issue?

Are you implying that there is a color bias as to whose blogs remain posted? I was part of a blog string removed on here once and understood in the end that it was probably too controversial to remain on this social networking site. I disagreed with the decision, but respectfully understood the rationale.

I'd like to think we are in 2010, but comments like the above show me we still have a long way to go.

Britt accused me of being special because when I change something on my profile it takes wayyyy less than a day to get approved.....I have not had this problem....so now I am wondering.....LMAO!

ARIZONA:  That's because you ARE special.  Wish I could figure out how to acquire that status [LOL].

Luv2Hug, your black/white remark is very much out of line, not to mention stupid and irrational.  I hope you will remove it, or at least edit it to remove the race issue you injected into the posting glitches issue.

No, but one of my blogs disappeared a few days ago and then the other one last night...it had 700 hits and a lot of comments and now it is gone??? Is MM communizing our blogs...dare say not!! Did the infamous complain and beg the Counselor to remove my blog??? What do u think...since my blog may disappear...maybe yours will too...lol Say what you want, but freedom of speech has been removed and I think it is unconstitutional...what can I do about it?? If I were black, I could sue...I don't see anyone else's blogs disappearing mysteriously??? What can a white girl do about it?? Comments wanted please!!!

I was also having trouble and couldn't respond and thank everyone who gave me some great tips on my vacation blog. I didn't want people to think I was ignoring them!

Very frustrating, but I agree with Curious that MMC was on the case.
